CHRISTINA GEORGIOU music composer / scriptwriter / web designer

Christina Georgiou studied music in London (BMus, MA, PhD). Having received several awards for piano performance, composition and poetry, Christina first became involved in film-making by writing, producing, co-directing and composing music for the animated film 'Ants in a Jar'. She later composed music for feature documentaries, short films and commercials. In 2008 Christina wrote and co-produced the short film 'Styx', also undertaking the sound design and the soundtrack. The film received 6 international awards, including Best Soundtrack. More recently, she contributed to the soundtrack of 'The Appearance of a Man'. Christina's collaboration with Tetraktys Films commenced in 2010,with the composition of  original music for the feature documentary ‘Entelechy’.  She has also designed the company's new website and she will be  participating in the development of the transmedia ‘Aphrodite’ project. ANDREAS IACOVIDES English & Greek Speaking narrator / translator

Andreas Iacovides, in addition to being a Music Producer and News Editor/Reader at Cyprus' state broadcaster CyBC, has years of experience as a translator and narrator of documentaries in both English and Greek. His collaboration with Tetraktys Films dates back to 1995, with Andreas having translated and narrated countless documentaries and industrial films in both languages.

MARCO LOPEZ production sound recordist / audio studio mix engineer

Marco Lopez is a production sound mixer and sound designer, based in Nicosia, Cyprus. As an owner of Soundpath Studio, he will assure that your project will be given the finest attention to detail in order to achieve your expectations. The sound post production services cover Dialogue Editing, ADR (Recording and Editing), Foley (Recording and Editing), Sound Design, Premixing and Mixing. Using different surfaces and a vast amount of props we are able to record and create in house Foley effects.

PANICOS PETRIDES commercial tv director davinci / video colourist

Panicos Petrides, owner of FullMoon Productions Ltd, is a Director and Compositor with over 10 years of rich experience in the TV commercial industry.

After graduating in Video Production at Intercollege, Nicosia, Cyprus and in 3D Animation in Vinca School, Belgrade, Serbia, Panicos Petrides has worked for five years as a Production Manager in Animidia Ltd, following a two year partnership in Shake Studios Ltd, sister company of Capital TV in Limassol. He has opened an independent company in 2006: FullMoon Productions Ltd to provide directing and production services to private and public sector with a need of TV promotional material.

Panicos is investing in continuous training, following a number of professional courses for latest compositing software. He is a Certified Apple instructor for Final Cut software and a member of FXPHD professional training organisation where he has completed the courses for Shake, After Effects, Nuke, Davinci Resolve software and course in RED Cinematography.

As he accepts to produce only the highest quality end result from both artistic and technical side, Panicos has established partnerships with international production houses in Serbia and Slovenia, involving thus well known directors and directors of photography in the local projects.

Panicos has produced over 400 TV commercials during his career, out of which he has directed over 150 spots for well known Cypriot companies from banks, developers, manufacturers, shipping, furniture and many other companies.

Panicos has worked with Tetraktys in many projects, the last being the documentary film "Entelechy", on which he has done painstaking work, color correction, and created the Digital Cinema Package.

ANDREA AGGELIDOU assistant producer / production manager / editor

Andrea has graduated from NICOSIA UNIVERSITY, a local college, with a degree in Communications and specialization in the TV & Radio section. As a student, she joined the university’s Audiovisual sector as an assistant, and upon her graduation, she was promoted to Officer. She considers an important point of her career her having joined, in 2009, the Tetraktys team, working as an editor, assistant producer, and production manager. She has gained a lot of knowledge through the various projects undertaken by Tetraktys, and has created contacts with professionals of the business. Andrea is proud to be a member of this team, and is very enthusiastic about the future within this sector.

SIMON HUSTINGS video editor / post production trainer

Simon Hustings is a video editor and post production trainer based in Nicosia, Cyprus with over 10 years experience in producing, shooting & cutting videos solutions for a variety of national and international clients.

STAVROS PAPAGEORGHIOU  - producer/director

Stavros Papageorghiou is an established documentary producer/director in Cyprus. He began his career in 1986, after graduating from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA, with a BFA degree in Cinema. Returning to Cyprus, Stavros spent four years working in the field of video and television production, mostly as a documentary director/lighting cameraman. In 1990, he joined LOGOS TV – the first private television station established in Cyprus -- as a factual programme TV director/producer for four years. In November 1994, Stavros established his own independent production company: TETRAKTYS films. The company became for Stavros the launching pad for producing high-quality audiovisual projects to promote culture and facts of Cyprus with audience engagement on an international level, using cross-media platforms. 

As an independent producer, Stavros Papageorghiou is also very much interested in international co-productions. During his professional career, Stavros has attended seminars and participated in professional workshops, most of them organised with the support of the MEDIA programme, such as MEDIA BUSINESS SCHOOL, EAVE, EURODOC and POWER TO THE PIXEL LAB. Through this continuing experience, Stavros has established many useful contacts with producers and other professionals from many European countries and North America.

In October 2011, Stavros established PSeFiON DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, the distribution branch of TETRAKTYS films in order to sell Cypriot and international documentary films in the form of DVD, to individuals and educational organizations and institutions worldwide.

YELIZ SHUKRI - Director | Co-ordinator

Film director of her second feature length documentary which is currently in development stage: Synopsis: “ Women’s rights activist Pembe Mentesh is about to discover ‘The price of a Daughter’, as she searches for her missing great aunt who was one of 4000 Turkish Cypriot women sold into marriage to an Arab suitor and sent abroad some seventy years ago, never to be heard from again.”

Co-manager and co-ordinator of professional training/ consultancy program and distribution service under TETRAKTY Film company called Psefion Project. This is a bi-communal initiative that intends to escalate the number of hi-quality films made by both Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot filmmakers with the emphasis of cooperation between the communities. The Psefion aim is to produce high quality Cypriot films and have them seen throughout the world.

HEKTOR PAPAGEORGIOU - Trainee director of photography/cross-media director

Hektor Papageorgiou is currently studying cinematography and new digital media at the MET Film school,  located at the Ealing  film studios  in London. Upon completion of his studies, Hektor will be joining TETRAKTYS films on a full time basis as cinematographer/director for transmedia projects.  Hektor worked as an assistant cameraman and soundman for the production of two documentary films of the company: “Entelechy” and “Kypris: The Aphrodite of Cyprus Revealed”.

Her gentle and capricious manners offer everyone in the office- including our visiting clients - a warm feeling of security and affection.
